I'm worried they saw the praise for this album and thought "Wow we have to follow up quick and keep up the momentum" and that will cause the quality to decline.
But ask yourself if Thank God for Girls is worse than back to the shack, because BTTS is the weakest song here, and people freaked out when it first dropped...there could still be hope
