I honestly don't think they'd do a comeback record if it was to be extremely subpar. I'm not (actually) expecting them to recapture their glory days, but surely it'll be somewhere near the same quality of this album at least.

If you think this is underwhelming till High Hopes comes in you're missing the fact that Wearing the Inside Out, Coming Back to Life and Lost for Words are all absolutely top tunes

The new one is 20yr old stuff rehashed and repackaged, which just isn't going to cut it is it? The soul and spirit will be absent.

They should've just tacked the extras onto that 20yr reissue of this.

Unless they use one of his old pieces for it? He did create a truckload of amazing works for Floyd that never got used so they're not exactly strapped for choice on that one
