I'm pretty sure that if you only downloaded half a zip file you wouldn't be able to extract any of the tracks because of the way it's compressed. Not that it really matters, but js.

When that happens I think it's because you downloaded something that simply was a corrupted archive from the beginning.

But does zip do compression of audio files? It's basically used as a container and there's always an option to make an archive without compressing it.

Nah I've had it happen if the wifi sometimes cuts out for a second, because being that it's a straight file download versus a peer-to-peer torrent system (and that I'm not using premium features) the download "completes" instead of resuming, and I'm left with half the album downloaded
