in fear's defence, i have been in arguments with him before about things, but he conducted himself pretty well, not once in his part at the beginning did he throw out a bunch of insults, he asked for some proof of your points, and you eventually gave it to him (after 5 or so pages of you saying he is dumb essentially for asking for it)

just because 30 years ago people called it death/black/thrash metal (because the subgenres weren't actually defined yet) doesn't mean it's accurate to say "anything after 1987 isn't osdm" -- the common perception of "osdm" (i.e. the one used by 90-95% of the people who listen to it) would include records released from 87-91/92.
just because you take the most stereotypical "elite" route possible with your opinion doesn't make it right.
