Trevors highs are cool and unique, his growls are pretty mediocre but they work. Shannon Lucas is overrated imo. Hes decent but not the beast people seem to think. Ive probably already said that somewhere.

yeah Shannon was bomb bay for this band. And like Trevor's vox and the bands at the gates esq sound. tbdm is defined their own sound by now tbh

Why though, he mostly does standard double bass and blast beat patterns without many interesting ideas. He does the same things most other extreme metal drummers do, i dont see why hes special for it.

I agree, he doesn't do anything fancy but you gotta admit the man has stamina. I wouldn't be surprised if it's his stamina that is well respected by all and not actually his creativity.
