MoP is their best, but this is a close second IMO.
I just think they took their progressive elements a little too far, and the production doesn't make the album any easier to swallow.

yeah i can't really think of any thrash bands who've pulled off the dark and apocalyptic atmosphere that's achieved on this album. i think the vacuous sound is damn effective at pushing the overall theme and mood forward
