The Hard Sell is probably the worst song on both Aftermans...

Gravity's Union > any Coheed song since The End Complete III

Yeah the second half is pretty forgettable that's for sure, which is pretty disappointing.

I personally think Vic and Domino are the best 2 out of both Aftermans, but we'll see how things change.

I really enjoy the second half personally...2's My Favorite 1 would have fit in with Good Apollo I or IKS even if you removed the piano octaves in the prechorus.

It ends too abruptly in my opinion but it's got an extremely infectious chorus...not to mention Claudio's vocals when he enters in the first verse are as high as they've been in years.

It's just so bland and vanilla and a far inferior product compared to their other records

I really like The Hard Sell too.

"It's just so bland and vanilla and a far inferior product compared to their other records"

I think Number City is pretty much the most unique poppy track they've done. I will say that while I love the end of Gravity's Union and it sounds like it belongs on a classic Coheed epic, I find the rest of the track fails to live up to that standard. But it's still really fucking good.

I get the feeling that they were trying to recreate a track like "The Crowing" with Gravity's Union, as structurally the two are almost identical. And I mean, I'm a sucker I suppose because it's totally worked for me so far; it's a top 10 Coheed track for me.
