So 0:18 - 0:30 on Erised is Spencer’s worst vocals of all time, right?

think its most definitely gotta be something from p1 or the icarus ep
think 1:01-1:09 of make total destroy always sounded really bad tho

WAIT HOLD UP by far the worst vocals i've heard from spencer were on that weird side project he did with halpern... completely forgot that existed.
edit: king mothership was the name, absolutely unlistenable to me haha

Yeah that part in Make Total Destroy ain’t good. Some weird parts on P2 where the melodies just don’t fit at all

honestly crazy to listen back to shit like ragnarok and gods must be crazy on here remembering how insane I thought those songs were back then... then realizing shit these might not even be top 20 periphery songs anymore they've gotten so much better since this

ehhh I still think Ragnarok is a top 10 Periphery song. Perfect mix of heavy, melodic, and dark/weird electronics

"ehhh I still think Ragnarok is a top 10 Periphery song. Perfect mix of heavy, melodic, and dark/weird electronics"
haha I looked back at my every periphery song ranked list from like three years ago and had it at like 12 so that checks out actually
and yeah hoping they bring back the electronic interludes/outros on the new album... way cooler than the orchestral stuff they've been doing instead the last few albums

So mad that this is like 11 years old now, still remember going to my local rock club and the DJ played the whole thing back to front, no shits given lol. First time I ever heard these guys.

I don't really come back to this very often though, not sure why. I don't have a whole lot of attachment to it.
It doesn't quite hit the peaks of Juggernaut and P4 either. But it's a consistently 'good' listen. Luck as a Constant has that epic finale I guess, and the opener never fails to get me pumped! But I lose interest fairly quickly on this which sucks.
