Idk man, they seem to love that album and it got received very well. I doubt they'd just stop now, if anything I thought they were gonna stop as soon as Tom died

Yea, I didn't mean they'll stop, but I don't think they'll win me over again

Ah gotcha, then yea I agree. They started losing me at All Our Gods and then Holy Hell was super boring so I don't see them doing anything crazy unless they let Josh just go off and make crazy songs

fr been jamming it a lot this week and its definitely up w my favorites. really wonderful integration of melody into their heavier sound. ive sequenced most of the bonuses in (other than rise against which i cant find a home for but it big owns so it desrves a home) too which all own too

I almost like this. I prefer it to any of the albums that preceded it in their discog. (I'm so mad at myself for unintentionally discog running this band.)

Should probably revisit this honestly. It's been a minute.

Damn dude, you didn't like Hollow Crown or Ruin?

This song should've made the album. Rise Against should've been the closer. I'd prolly appreciate this album so much more if those 2 made the cut.

Ahh makes sense. Well maybe you'll like LF//LT or All Our Gods better then. Those are less techy for sure.

rn my track order after truth be told looks like

6. black blood

7. untitled

8. even if you win

9. outsider heart

10. behind the throne

11. cracks in the earth

and then is the same until the end. honestly struggling to find a home for rise against since as an unbeliever fan im not really sold on the idea of that ending the album, but rise against big owns and needs to be here somewhere

This is one of their most creative records. Pretty exciting actually, looking back at it

Rise Against can go before or after Unbeliever but it definitely feels like something that should be on the tail end to me.

And its kinda crazy how they didnt think to put Black Blood on the album either. All the best songs from this era arent even on the album wtf.
