According to my last.fm profile Sigur Ros are my most played artist of the past year, seeing as I rediscovered them earlier in 2018 and had almost forgotten how amazing they were. I had to bump up my ratings for this, (), and Kveikur recently given how into those albums, and med and Valtari too, I got into recently.

Valtari is definitely underrated. Not a fan of Von though, lacks focus & any sense of cohesion for me.

I like a lot of Von and appreciate how sprawling and ambitious it is. I also like weird soundscapes and field recordings in general so it appeals to me, but a lot of Von does drag on and feels aimless in places. Their weakest full-length but still solid.

Staring Elf, Good Weather for an Airstrike, Olsen, Olsen, and the title track are phenomenal. I don't always know how to feel about the middle three songs, but they're very interesting and I like them a lot for sure.
