Having read many of his thrash metal reviews; I can say with some certainty that deathrasher was never a good reviewer. He never improved and got bogged down in one specific genre. He thrived in music that was repetitive and lacked variation or progression. Why he would review an Opeth album, I'll never know.
I love thrash, but there are bigger and better things out there. Opeth being one of them. He was wrong. Opeth is more than a metal band, they represent versatility and creativity. Not digging them because they aren't as heavy as you may like them to be is ridiculous.
Deathrasher and I share a common taste in metal, (obviously), but I have to disagree with this review not only in execution, but opinion.
