it's just more my speed as far as ambient goes but i think the closer is the best thing to come out of those sessions period

"everything hecker does is awesome"
most of it is yeah. love streams doesn't do much for me though
|

Really loving this, I think it'll hrow to a 4.5 but I gotta spin it a few more times before giving it the bump (:

As I dive deeper into Hecker's discog I keep coming back to this and at this point I think it's safe to say this is my favorite of his, just hits that perfect balance of challenging, affective composition and soothing, comfy ambience.

Yes, though I do feel as though it loses focus at times. My biggest complaint about the record probably.

Album Rating: 4.5
Probably just being stingy though, this is really a 5 just like pretty much all his records.

Right now my ranking is Ravedeath > Ultraviolet > Imaginary Country >HMHMDIA > Radio Amor > Konoyo > Virgins >>>>>>>> Love Streams, everything from Imaginary Country to Virgins could go in any order though tbh

Ok yeah, this is stunning in a good, isolated enviroment.
(I am in a gulag in Siberia rn, I'll explain later...)

Been spinning this on and off the last couple weeks. I have trouble with ambient sometimes but this is quite good, really dig the "In the Fog" suite especially.

Feels so good to come back to this.
"Analog Paralysis, 1978" is so freaking good.

I'm glad I checked this album out it gets better and better. My first of him.
The atmosphere of this album reminds me a bit of Loscil - Endless Falls, one of my absolute favourite ambient albums.
I already have far over 100 amazing atmospheric electronic albums, and I still discover something that is new to me.
All those ambient / IDM / glitch / psybient / post-rock / field recordings albums really help me feel positive, calm and makes me able to leave reality for the duration of the album.
When I'm at home I can always easily forget about what's going on outside and be in my own world.
