OKAY BRAHS, i know it's not a fuckin underground classic or a monument of technicality. but it was a game changer for its time, and perhaps the best album for metalheads coming up in that generation. you can't deny the impact slipknot made. it was fast, it was angry, IT WAS LIFTY. now you brahs know that I FUCKING LOVE LIFTY MUSIC. and if you're aesthetic like i am, you should too. it had awesome production, it was fresh, and it was a passionate attempt to throw themselves into a scene where fatty mc fat fat fred durst reigned supreme (his hairline lacked discipline as well. he wore a cap to cover the baldness.). slipknot defeated all competition, and left us with an undeniable, influential debut album with this lineup. hate me and hate this comment, but you're gonna be jelly as hell when i'm liftin' to this album, gettin fuckin shredded while you're busy complaining about how this band sucks, taking occassional breaks licking the cheetos residue off your finger tips. YOU NASTY FUCK.

BRO. lifty.
If a sound has the power to force my testicles to swell and enlarge while sending testosterone and passion to every nerve and muscle fiber to my body. If a sound makes me wanna smash shit, makes me wanna punch some dude with a bowl cut, makes me wanna strut like a rooster, fuck like a beast, throw some plates around the gym etc....
that's lifty.

Oh god, this "Nu-Metal" piece of garbage. I still here people say "man this album is their best!" I think, while Slipknot is average at best, this album is their worst, rapping does not fit with Metal imo and certainly not with Taylor's voice. I always thought Taylor and Joey were too good for this group

Rapping?! Wha...?! Are you talking about the verses on Spit It Out? Because THAT'S NOT RAPPING. Jesus fucking God.

Have you NOT listened to the song?

that is called rapping, regardless if he's screaming the words :/
Anyway the album blows regardless and the group is a joke

I have listened to the song. He is TALKING. Really fast. He's not doing what Fred Durst or the guy from (hed) P.E. do. THAT'S rapping.

Album has good quality and this band is funny. The amount of hate and love that they receive is a fucking exaggeration
