my college best friend’s girlfriend and her bandmate were gonna cover suicide for my sister’s apartment’s Halloween concert party but it was “taken” by another act so they did Les ralliZes denudes and then the band that was doing suicide anyways dropped out but then a month after they did the LRD performance the lady died in a blink fitness and then the dude enlisted me to get his estranged girlfriend back to him and then she told me he was abusive and I started dating her so now he’s mad at me

My college friend released his first album (acquired taste but super creative art pop imo, voice could be tough for some) like six months after she (his gf of three years) died and she has one sole credit on the album and it’s a like elegiac cello line on the very first song and I feel like even without context it’s prob the most beautiful element of the album

I listen to it and feel her there fr. Great cellist and bassist. I really feel her on that song. Ok that’s all. She was one of the nicest people to me when I first loved into Brooklyn and we were the best friends we had been in our time together at the time she died smh
This album rules, SO good. Adam Downer aka Electric City compared the vocals of 12 Rods’ gay? to this-kinda see what he’s getting at
