I can admit Lil Wayne has fallen off recently but he brings it in this song. And one guest rap feature is also another reason I like this album a lot more. Every verse is from Em except one.

Yeah this album is great, but there's not as many memorable tracks on this as there is on The Marshall Mathers LP. That album is miles better than this. The middle of this album gets kind of boring.

I love when people laugh at people for their musical opinions. You know it's all opinion right? I could laugh at the fact that you have Radiohead as a 5. Radiohead is one of the most overrated trash bands I've ever heard in my entire life. Honestly. But I won't laugh at that because you obviously like them a whole lot. To each his own though.

but you gave this a 5 lol

HE also gave relapse a 4, lil wayne is up in the 4.5, lol @ this guy talking about hip hop

Yeah. Because this is one of my favorite albums all the way through. Some people might give it a 1 and hate it. Just like Radiohead isn't for everyone. No one can change my musical tastes because I like what I like and hate what I hate.

I never claimed to be a huge hip hop fan moron. Honestly I hate most of it. There are very few rap artists that I even think have talent. I'm much more of a rock music fan but Eminem is one of my favorite artists of any genre.

you're missing the point.
there's a difference between liking a band and rating a half-assed, return effort as a timeless, classic album.

I think you're missing the point. In my opinion it is a classic. Eminem being clear headed has allowed him to create one. If you don't feel that, that's cool. I have no problem with that. I would in no way ever give Radiohead anywhere near a 5. No one could ever convince me to do that just like no one will convince me that this album isn't a 5. But it's all good.

the point is that your opinions are laughable and really do not seem sincere(or at least regarding the overzealous rating you gave it).

There's no need to convince you that it's not a 5, because it's just not. Everyone except you sees that.

are you educating him on how sputnik hates on new members that don't share their opinion?? :P
|

Album Rating: 3.0
haha, no I'm simply explaining why people don't take his rating seriously and what he should expect as far as sputnik goes. I was honestly considering just insulting him and being like "lol new user" blah blah blah but I felt it was worth putting in a word, sadly it made my 2000th comment though.

@guitarplaya3eb: Dude, you need to understand what really makes an album a classic. I only have two albums rated 5, and I gave both of those a lot of consideration.

I mean I understand liking it enough to give it a classic rating, but like this just came out. At least let it sink in before you start saying "OMG THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS EVER!!!" I get the whole to each his own thing, but he probably only listened to this like 2 times and all of a sudden it's a classic.

Haha whatever. I knew everyone would freak out like this. But bottom line is that I can have my own opinion of what makes it a classic. Do I really need to "understand" what makes a classic to you? And also 23 other people seem to agree with me and that's just on here. So if my math is correct, that means I'm not the only one.
