to be honest demi i haven't been majorly into what i've heard so far, i've got moon and antarctica and
lonesome crowded west but i've never really got into them despite trying a bit. it's disappointing
because they seem like the platonic ideal of the kind of band i like

damn well i can understand that, they're a bit rough around the edges but i just think they articulate their emotions so vividly through music. and Isaac's lyrics are among the best i've heard, so clever and witty but so to the point. should give their debut a spin sometime, i think you might dig it. but it's still pretty rough and lo-fi.

yeah, his lyrics definitely stood out among the things i liked about them, the vocals less so though. that link you posted is lovely though, seems more straightforward melodically than the other stuff i've heard, great guitar work too.
as for this album, all i can say is listen to ex-girl collection and she sends kisses while reading the lyrics, and if that doesn't convert you something's very wrong
