Yeah I said a few pages back that the title track here sounds like a mashup of Clavius and Wake... which I don't mind at all.

i prefer galilean, but if they had put some of the astromical ambient and electronic sounds from the second disc of gallilean, this could be the peak of their career

f they had put some of the astromical ambient and electronic sounds from the second disc of gallilean, this could be the peak of their career.

It is exactly that dense atmosphere and electronic sound which is part of what this album is missing, yes, they could of possibly made an album to rival their other 2 without it, but imo they havent.

"Because people want to believe that all we sit around and listen to is Isis and Neurosis but there’s also a bunch of other stuff people listen to."

Wait, there's more music than just Neurosis? This is big news.

they're all good though dude. if they release another album as good as their other stuff they'll most likely become my fav 'post' band. like i have this as a 5 and the other two as a 4.5. i personally think their best song is 'Monument' still.

also, gmaj. that was a good read, i enjoyed it. i was reading it and hoping for some news of the vinyl release date though.
