album doesn't really do anything particularly new, but it's one of the few records this year that stands out simply for how genuinely good every individual song is. not to mention I find all of them incredibly moving.

this will have a very high spot on my year end list despite the fact that I've only listened to it a few times. honestly, this might be the most emotionally moving and heartbreaking album I have ever heard and i've been trying to listen to it again ever since i first played it when it came out but i really cant even make it past the first few songs. definitely because of personal stuff that was going on with me, but beyond that, i think the album's emotional weight can be felt universally. beautiful beautiful stuff.

Been going back and forth a lot but I think I'm ready to say that I like this better than Shallow Graves. Dammit, "The Gardener" makes my decision tough, but I think I'm still ok with saying Wild Hunt is better.

i didn't even think the gardener was the stand out track on shallow grave to be honest. where do my bluebird's fly was my favourite.
