"Weird thing to say since tool were releasing music like 10 years before Muse were. Also I just don't hear this at all man. I guess the aesthetic and vibe are a bit similar but they have totally different approaches to songwriting"
Makes you think how far Tool would go to steal riffs from Muse lmao. It's hilarious they got away with it

How come you guys here dislike Tool when your favorite band Karnivool basically worships Tool and are quite obviously an amateurish extension of them with random aussie emotional bursts?

Well you can't like Karnivool *and* Tool. You have to pick one

Gr8 b8 m8 but Karnivool scratches an itch Tool doesn't. There are little to no Tool songs that made gave me the "AAAAH YES THAT RULED" feeling like Goliath, Set Fire to the Hive or Deadman does. Probably the much more genuine emotional aspect of it. The influence is clear but "amateurish extension" doesn't give them due credit.

Yeah its pretty great. Ive listened to this several times over the years, but it all seemed to run together I guess. But anyway, I'm finally beginning to appreciate individual songs.
