Suppers ready is my favorite song on the album. The guitar in the song is among the best ever in a Genesis song. Steve Hackett was a pioneer of Guitar playing.

"Suppers Ready" sure can compete with "Tarkus," "Lizard," and "The Gates of Delirium" very nicely.

Not sure if this has been posted here but this ending of supper's ready with collins on vocals is stupidly good. only
performance that imo outshines even peter gabriel. it's a real shame they didn't continue this style with him.

peter gabriel is obviously better

Granted, Phil hits the high notes more smoothly, but Gabriel has
more interesting tone and feel. There would definitely be more Collins fans around here if he
continued with the Trick and Wuthering style for Genesis.

Every Genesis freaks need to, sonic. It took them 7 musicians to reproduce their sound properly. And it's identical.
