"Don't have this 5'd because of Treefingers and Motion Picture overstaying their welcomes... on and the "bonus part" at the end that's literally just more Treefingers"

But Treefingers works extremely well as a transitional track, a cleansing. And Motion Picture doesn't overstay its welcome at all, at least not if you have the actual song and the "bonus part" split up (as the version I have does). And the "bonus part" is perfect... The sound of ascension into the next life, of rebirth.

If anything, I'd rather say "Hail To The Thief" is their "The Wall".

Also Motion Picture Soundtrack is really great (achieves what Exit Music wants to), but that three minute outro is just too much.

I have only heard Idioteque and am scared to listen to the rest because I don't know if it will live up to the standard that track set for this album for me. Such an incredible song.

" It's just that In Limbo and Morning Bell aren't really that great "

lol dude has got to be joking. in limbo is probably the second or third best song here. that outro is one of the coolest and creepiest things ever

Nah but Number 1 is HTDC, but other than that I can't really rank the rest.

it drags a little. every song on here seems to go somewhere and have some grandiose moment or conclusion but htdc just sounds really samey throughout. it's a lovely track on its own but when i'm listening to the album i always zone out while it's playing

everything in its right place is the song that turned me away from this for years tbh. i think it's great now, but back when everyone recommend i check it out if i want to get into this, i immediately wrote this off. despite me liking it much more now, i think its status as one of their best songs is unwarranted

I wouldn't say it's one of their all-time best but definitely a perfect album opener imo
