I feel like this album is very underrated. May just be because it's a bit of a change from their prior style.
Also I feel like the riff that keeps popping up in Drifter sounds just like the one in Blood and Thunder by Mastodon and the beginning of Watch Them Feed sounds just like Before I Forget by Slipknot. Or I guess I should say the other way around, since I'm pretty sure this album came out before the others. Either way, you can really hear how influential In Flames has been to other metal bands of various sub-genres.

"yes this album was huge influential."
When you're relevant to a genre that is mostly terrible, it's not saying much.

I don't care what people say, there are a lot of meaningful and deep songs on this album. The singer has a way of singing where you end up believing that he means it. Which I like.

Pfft next thing you're gonna tell us is that the In Flames branded gin is actually worth it

It is probably pretty decent. Apparently the singer and guitarist are quite the boozers.
