Listened to this album the week it came out. It was my first introduction to ISIS. I have adhered to their rhythms ever since.

You're not completely musically retarded either so it works. It's still insane to call this boring.

Although it's great (perhaps downright awesome), there is no doubt in my mind that this, along with The Red Sea, turned out to be the worst ISIS releases.

dude how can you possibly find this not boring. all they do is what theyve been doing since panopticon. it's just toothless and insipid

and the red sea is probably their second best release

This is pretty different from Panopticon. Different mood especially. Darker. More cleans and deeper growls.

Yeah, but also the "broad" atmosphere of the album fits sunny days and warm weather. Especially when you're just sitting or lying in the sun, doing nothing.

sunshine? album is all deep space placed "as above so below" over the sea

but the colourful and vivid electronics and the energetic as hell atmosphere makes it feel so warm and alive!! :]

This really is underrated, I think every Isis album is the best when your in the moment. Wavering Radient takes you on a journey no other release does. I've searched nothing can take you to palce this album takes you. This album may have areas of dissonance but it's not bad when you listen to it enough. This ismy favorite album of all time.
