They come to Munich on October 18 if I remember correctly and yeah, will probably go.

This keeps getting better and better, all the nuances reveal themselves and the complexity and beauty becomes apparent in full.
Need a hard copy asap... Is this available on vinyl?
EDIT: Yes, it is... At insanely high prices. Will go with the CD then I guess...

If they did a vinyl of the remaster I'd be all over it but alas no :c
|

Really have to check the original, v e r y curious...

If you want the regular edition of the remaster, it's easy to find. You want to find the limited first press (Digicover which looks really nice, that's the only difference) then that's a ballache to find. The Vinyl pressing is only of the original version, I can find it pretty easy for a good price if you ever want it.

Yeah that's true, the remaster is pretty easy to find, at fair prices.
Just checked the original version for Vinushka, a significant difference indeed. The remaster is much clearer and more distinct and balanced, but on the other hand it's also way more compressed. However, it definitely beats the original as a whole.

Yeah, the original sounds so muddy.

I have the vinyl of Uroboros. Unfortunately it’s warped...and pretty badly too but by all means not completely unplayable though.

I can't find a first press of r+e anywhere. I've searched high and low for years, dead annoying

Gonzo, it was released in America as well. I happen to have that particular pressing (US edition) but it seems you want the first/limited edition JP one.

I own the first press, but it took quite a while for me to obtain. It's worth buying if you can get it though because it looks really nice. Japanese websites/proxy services are your only option to obtain it.

Calc, any difference in packaging on the first press other than the slipcase?
|
| |
No other difference, the slipcase is really nice though. It's ultimately your discretion whether you think it's worth hunting it down or not.

I recently revisited my warped copy of Uroboros...for some reason it played near flawless (no jumping up and down on the stylus/grooves) than the last time I spun it on the turntable...which was about 2 years ago. I can still tell its warped cause it has a wobble sound to it (it's very noticeable on the acoustic guitar passages). For it is the original master/mix...it sounds somewhat dynamic which is quite contradicting considering how mushed it sounds on CD/digital. Still, the remaster is the best version of the album.
