Vital overall is a better, more consistent record, as this has higher highs but also lower lows. Breaking, The Resistance and Feel Good Drag are all among my absolute favorite Anberlin, but the rest of the record is kinda eh.

If they didn't alter Feel Good Drag and weeded out some of the filler this would be their best album. As it stands though, the opener and closer are huge and easily stand in the company of their very best work.
