Finally got this. I listened to it once and though "Hmm, that wasn't all that."
Then I listened again and thought "Wow, I am a fucking shithead, this record is amazing."
Took me a couple listens, but I love it!

In Flames has he longer streak of strong releases (Jester Race through Clayman), but Dark Tranquility won in the long run.

DT> In Flames. There, I finally decided.

Not an easy one though! I love TJR than most DT albums.
|
| |
I will always like TJR more than this album for sentimental and enjoyment reasons. That being said, this is still an enjoyable/important album.
Also The Ref in the Sky is ours is better than this too. So is Gardens of Grief and Oracle Moon.

Red in the sky and gardens of grief is by at the gates
And oracle moon is by garden of shadows

Ah, ok. I have Slaughter of the Soul as a 4 but I don't have that one. Couldn't get into ATG as much. I'll check them out.
|
| |
imo Slaughter of the Sould isn't even on the same level as the ones I mentioned. Might as well have been a completely different band.
