i can't either. DtGL is so obviously better when i listen to it, i can't understand how anyone could think this record is better.

DtGL is all about the atmosphere whilst this is more straightforward and ballsy which is more to a lot of people's tastes

yeah DtGL definitely wins in the atmosphere department. I don't see this as ballsy at all. It's just a less atmospheric and slightly (very slightly) more poppy version of DtGL

But to be fair, I haven't listen to Define the Great Line for about a year or so... because it's not as epic.

DtGL is clearly much more epic in scope

i don't get how this album is epic. it's a good album but it's exactly the same as Define. same feel and everythang.
