yeah this album is a lot filthier, not only in production but in songwriting. there's more chugging breakdowns and larger use of slam riffs than effigy of the forgotten. for the most part the muddy production executes this well, but at times becomes a little too muddy to make anything out. it's a shame how overlooked this album is compared to their second and third albums.
