Echelon is the jam here. So is Oblivion. So is Capricorn. Leto used to be good.

I liked this album so much. It's a shame what has happened to this band. ABL seemed a bit artificial, like they wanted to get on emo bandwagon, but it was still a decend effort. It was quite similar with TIW, although it went into pop direction. Pop/electro sound of LLFD was bad but I understood a need for experimenting. But the crap they pulled with this new single makes me believe they are never going to produce an album like their debut. As someone here wrote: this band is dead.

It's shocking how Leto's musicianship is dwindling into nothing now. He actually used to play the guitar and bass back in the day

Agree, I show the song "fallen" in a tool facebook community and they were all surprised because they believed that the band started with ABL, and they were an average boring emo rock band.

this album really was quite unique both for this band and alt-rock in general. great pop sensibilities without being too simplistic. great production value and interesting blend of songwriting. what happened though?

I adore this album. Leto was once a radio rock God. That said, the best songs on here (Oblivion, Echelon) never touched radio. Oh yeah, he sucks now.
