I read an interview recently and I can say that these guys are arrogant assholes that even piss me off (and that says a lot)

I can sympathize with vocalists for loosing their voices by some way or another (like Ihsahn for example), but Shadows should of became mute.

I have to say that this is a pretty well rounded review. I thought that this band could have delivered more with City of Evil. Coming from someone who liked them since Sound the Seventh Trumpet I thought compared to the other two full lengths that this album was a one. But working with what they had (Matt not being able to scream anymore) I think it was an ok album. Could have been better but hey you cant always get what you want.

I rated this a 4 just cause it doesn't sound like nething else right now. Its completely original and thats what I need right now. Although I like this sound, Hopefully their next disc will have more of their original sound with the new record. I Just hope they don't turn into ne other rock/metal band thats been seen on mtv that sold out. I mean u can call Bat Country selling out but its just one song ond the disc. The whole disc give's off this cartoonish rebellious feeling that you just don't hear with anything else. They're either gonna get it perfect or completely regress with their next effort.

this is certainly not going to receive a lot of radio or MTV support.
