Not the most seamless Pink Floyd album. But the amount of great tunes on the this double album makes up for the lack of perfection. Unlike The Final Cut three years later Gilmour is still up for a complite match up with Waters where Waters makes the ingenious tunes, melodies and lyrics while Gilmour makes all the neccesary music to that.
And......an album that have Comfortably Numb on it will always get a 5. My favorite song from my favorite band. And also the best solo ever.

The Wall is easily one of the best Concept Albums ever, and, to top it off, it contains around a dozen of Pink Floyd's greatest songs.
Great review, gave me an entirely new perspective on an album i thought i knew like the back of my hand.

I want to 5 this when I listen to Young Lust. Everytime. This so is so fucking underrated, it's a crying shame.

This is not a true Pink Floyd record. It's a Roger Waters record with Gilmore and Mason as glorified studio musicians. Financial concerns were a huge motivating factor in the rest of the band following Waters into this. Solid album, but vastly overrated.

Because the album is pretty crap lol. I can only think of one song that I really like on this (the one I was singing), the story is dull, and the production quality is so flat - even for the day.
I'd take Atom Heart Mother over this one - I kid you not lol.
