what's even come close so far? only thing i can think of at the moment is Los Angeles by Flying Lotus but that's mainly since the album cover itself is kind of a tribute - the album is at a stretch only even remotely similar to the more atmospheric parts of M
i guess Primal Scream's XTRMNTR at a stretch could be called Mezzanine's cousin on "uppers"
