not big on this opener

Oof, that's a bad take. The opener is maybe the best song on the album. It's better than the entirety of young Americans

but the album is pretty great. a lot packed in to just 38 minutes. Word on a Wing and TVC15 are the two best imo

Opener is the best song here

TVC15 is maybe the weakest I think but I still adore that song 4.5/5. Word on a wing is the only song I'd say is maybe as good as the title track. I've played that song to absolute death

it sounds like a coke fueled fever dream

Great vocals, really cool instrumentation, one of the catchiest choruses he's ever written. I mean the whole album is essentially a coke fueled fever dream lmao. He didn't even remember making it

reminds me slightly of Remain In Light cause of that and the funk/post-punk influences. Golden Years particularly could be a Byrne/Eno collab. definitely not what I expected but very interesting album, excited to listen again tonight

T/t and Stay are two of the best songs ever made, easy.
