i'll agree that rip is more consistent than this, for the most part
buuut it doesn't have the aggression of early megadeth. i mean, KIMB, is an album about, killing your girlfriend because she doesn't love you anymore, then killing for a job, then a guy having his facial features torn off, then killing at a concert, then an evil rabbit killing you, then being crucified, then boning a girl
peace sells and sfsgsw kept that psychopath violence, but for rust in peace they just seem so over it, writing about politics, climate change, fantasy stuff, which is all cool, but the early megadeth stuff is so more more visceral and violent, and that's what a lot of people like about megadeth. no one was ever as evil
