I think this is one of those situations where SCIENCE has better songs overall, but I think this flows a bit better as an album. They’re pretty close on both accounts though.

That verse riff in Stellar is one of the 90s rock greatest of all time riffs

It’s up there.

weird thinking of this as a "90s album" to me
|
| |
always associate it w/ the dawn of the century & whatnot, especially since it didn't really get big 'til around then (Drive, specifically)

This is a super 90s album though.

I mean more so the sound. It’s got a lot of 90s music tropes (although done very well).

Fungus & SCIENCE are 90s albums
this to me is the sound of early 00s rock, just done a year before said decade had begun

Unpopular opinion - Drive is one the weakest tracks here and not a very good song in general

Definitely one of the weakest here, maybe the weakest. It’s a decent song with a nice melody though. Kinda boring.

I have always liked it. It has a lot of replay value, I think. I have heard it a ton but I never get sick of hearing it come on, whether it was just from listening to the album, phone on shuffle, on the radio, at an event, etc.

The Cars' Drive is better than Incubus's Drive agreed
|
| |
Deftones cover of The Cars' Drive is better than both
but Incubus's Drive is still obviously, obviously a great song
