Who said it was far fetched? I don't think it's far fetched to think that, it's just nowhere near the best for me and therefore I find it overrated.
I wasn't born when it was released so the impact it had back them is completely irrelevant to my enjoyment of the album.

Finding an album to be nowhere near one of the best thrash albums I've heard when it is regarded by quite a few as the best is pretty much the definition of what it means to find something overrated.

This is the best for me due to the style of thrash. Albums like Rust in Peace and Master of Puppets dont do it for me
like this because they aren't dark enough. I can easily see why someone not into this style wouldnt see it as the
best thrash.

Slayer have always had limited appeal to me. They were dark and extreme and pretty much epitomised that side of thrash but musically they don't really do much for me anymore.

Once again my opinion is ridiculous but not as much as Lloyd's lol. If you digested the impact of this baby back in the day, I'm willing to bet you'd have a higher regard for it. Some people get it, some people don't.

lol I know it was sarcastic but at the same time the whole "people aren't allowed to think this is the best thrash ever" was ridiculous because it had nothing to do with my post. Just because it wasn't serious doesn't mean it wasn't ridiculous, you were purposely being ridiculous ;)
