Where You Been might be my least favorite of what I've heard honestly, even Without a Sound has more highlighsts

You should check Farm, I think reunion Dino might be their most consistently great incarnation. But that's just me. It may sound "safe" for some, and I can understand that, but I really like how much more assured they have become.



Where You Been is a little uneven, but I really like it. Start Choppin' might be their best pop moment, Out There is a fantastic opener, Get Me is great solo after great solo, Not the Same is Mascis at his most heart wrenching and Goin' Home just makes me feel warm. It also feels like a group effort somehow, while most of their 90s output - most notably Without a Sound and Green Mind - just sound like a solo effort from Mascis.



How do you feel about Bug? I think it gets the short straw because it was recorded in a difficult time for the band, but it will always be my favorite. Hard to grasp how Mascis affirms its his least favorite.
