There are very few bands that I'd prefer to be vague, esoteric and steeped in quasi-Alan Watts spiritual bullshit, but Tool is one of them. They've always seemed more mature (lol) cohesive and tight when they're going on about Parabolas than cliche admonishments about our need to be voyeurs of violence (Vicarious).
