Used to dislike this album quite a lot.



Took like 3-4 years to fully grow on me, it's a really gorgeous listen at times.

Yeah, or very close. KNY is my least fave modern Deftones record by a landslide.

I don’t really consider it “low”, I just prefer the other albums. KNY beats it easily because it has Leathers, Tempest, Entombed AND Rosemary — all some of my fav Deftones songs.



ATF is still a 4/4.5, but I find their subsequent albums more interesting. Be Quiet and Drive might be my favorite Deftones song though.

Deftones are probably my favorite band man, I love all of their albums — it’s just to varying degrees. Gore and Adrenaline are 3.5s, but the rest are 4.5s and 5s (WP And ST).

No I like it quite a bit. Pales in comparison to the others tho (aside from Gore). I love the energy, hunger and passion of it. Fireal was the first sign that these guys were more than they appeared and were going places. That’s still a top 10 Deftones song for me.
