There's something really ironic about people talking shit about game on a GKMC thread, an album where there's an entire verse dedicated to Game. Ive heard of Nas, i just havent LISTENED to Nas. I have the tendency to avoid the genre classics mostly because the expectations usually ruin the record for me. Funny thing is I bought a physical copy of Illmatic like two years ago.

Bro the gist of the entire discussion I've been having was whether or not Kendrick is a top 10 rapper. If you haven't heard AZ and Nas you aren't even familiar with the 2 of the most notorious likely candidates for the top 10... and i'm pretty confident my point about people barely hearing Game or not hearing Game at all applies to you too.

Tbh I care more about the beats then the bars when listening to a hip hop album.



For example, Aquemini has both amazing bars and beats, and it's a hard 5. If it had the same bars over average af beats, would probably give it a 3.5. If it had the same beats but with average af bars over them, would probably give it a 4 or 4.5.
