I'm not saying Opeth's earlier album's are full of moments that are purely 70's prog rock in style, I'm saying that they've incorporated 70's prog influences for years, it's almost always been a part of their sound. Mikael has always worn those influences on his sleeve and there are occasions on their earlier albums such as the example I picked out that are more obviously influenced by specific prog rock songs/bands than many of the songs on here are so the Mikael we hear on Heritage is anything but a man trying to be someone he's not.
