St Anger was Metallica's revenge for Napster. They got the last laugh, my therapy bills went through the roof

at least we got one of the best documentaries ever out of it. still can't believe they approved that to be released. hilarious, sad, embarrassing. it's got it all.

IMO Lamb of God cornered the market on Docs. Killadelphia / Sacrement sessions and As the Palaces Burn are all amazing insights into the band.

I'm also a big fan of ETID's Sh!t Happens and Unearth's live from the apocalypse. There's a ton of great ones out there.

The doomy riff and the outro in “escape” both go really hard ngl

It's pretty good for the legacy of being the only song on an album that isn't a towering masterpiece of excellence.

yeah it's definitely not a bad song at all. just right next to literally all other classics lol. if it wasn't on here i would think this is the best album ever made probably.

It's the Dawn Patrol in my mind, I tolerate that one on the GOAT album so I don't let Escape knock this one down lol

oh yeah for sure. just a tiny blemish. didn't know until this year that hetfield hates the song and it was a label add.

I like Escape but yeah it sticks out here, that chorus is pretty poppy haha
