Some of the best segues between songs I've ever heard in an album.

In terms of flow this is one of the best-constructed albums ever.

I plan to hear it soon, as long as it's closer to this and WYWH than to The Wall in quality it should be an easy 4.5-5

Wish You Were Here and Dark Side I'd take over Animals no contest, but that's also classic... scaling difficulties here.

Animals is three for me. I'ts like best LP ever made vs one of the best LPs ever made? I don't know how to explain it ha ha.

I prefer Wish to this, in terms of quality they're pretty much equal but this generally favors concept over emotion whereas Wish is much more emotional in general.

Knowing Animals is another concept-driven one I'll likely still prefer Wish.

I can't choose between the two, but I'd probably choose Dark Side if I'm throwing a bone. Apples and Oranges. Too many memories... no math here. Dark Side was the first I heard nothing replaces that feeling. I guess that's emotion! Ha, I don't know. Their both in my top 5 records of all time and I'd probably say DSOTM is #1 and Wish is #2? I give up..it doesn't get better than that.

This one is the epitome of how some albums transcend into a tangible document of 'the times, thoughts, frustrations and general consensus' and remain timeless.

It's this and then everything else.

To clarify I'm not denying that there's emotion here, and certainly I can see why many have a strong emotional connection to it, I just mean that relatively speaking this one is the more overtly conceptual of the two.
