It's definitely a step down, especially given the abundance of filler

the run from Kid A to Hail to the Thief is why I like this band basically

the surrounding albums still have beautiful tunes but I tend to make mixtapes out of them because I care less about the mood of those records than these ones

gonna 4.5 this once I remember where I put the CD

There's something about Idioteque that makes my hairs stand on end every time. The way the

distant drum beats kick in and all of a sudden you get that do do DO do.

Thom's beautiful wailing during the second chorus in Idioteque gives me shivers

Weird to think that this album is recorded before 2000's. I believe this is their best album by far. Just cause of the ideas they bring to the table. This album is one of those albums artist look back too for inspiration. Its like taking a drug in a way...like shrooms, you listen to it to get a brand new idea for what your music should sound like.

Something new and obscure is always going to seem like a twaddle. That is just human nature to not feel comfortable with something so new.

Lol Zak. Yea this did get pretty polarizing reviews but once the 00s ended it was on pretty much every critics End of the year lists.
