Those first few splashy hi-hat (???) hits of the record oh my, they kick off that incredible groove with perfect rolling greatness!

Gmork bro I couldn't because we had a huge unexpected expense that depleted a lot of what we had. Something always gets in the way. :[

Bruh I think their current tour is the one I saw in 2022ish (or at least very similar)

And it was singularly the most impactful live show I’ve ever seen. Know that’s hyperbolic but I walked out that venue realizing I just witnessed something special. Hope everyone can see that

Yeah I think many of us feel that way twlight! They shake you to your core.

It also gives a whole new dimension to listening to their music when you're back home/in the office/etc. again. Like you better understand what they're going for.

I think you’re totally right.

I think Meshuggah in general does that, even just listening. For example with Obzen, that was the first album of theirs I heard back in mid 2000s… electric red was always a song I skipped at that age, for whatever reason. Just didn’t resonate

Same person here 15 years later…That song hits different. Probably due to life changes and music taste evolving. However, Almost makes sense in a way. Hard to explain. But I do think their music transcends time in a way that it resonates at certain places in your existence. Then seeing the songs live really drives the nail in

"Into decay is the weak link here."

Literally one massive banger to wrap it up tightly, one of the best songs here imo
