finally jammed this in full again after two years where i simply could not stomach this albums crushing nature due to depression. if there ever was a moodkiller, this (and by extension all of their other records) would be it.

Idk if it’s that I can’t stomach it necessarily, but this will never be something I just put on on a whim. I know it is that album for some people, but this takes a serious commitment on my part. In a good way. I like that I can return to it after some time has passed and it still is one of the most innovative albums I’ve ever heard.
