I've always felt the 'incoherence' many speak of is more noticeably prominent on Orchid anyway, the song-writing on Morningrise is underrated. Sure it's a little quirky at times but that's part of the charm. The imperfections help to make it a unique record in their discog. If you want calculated clinical and unwaveringly tight compositions with half the personality, then stick to this one (I still enjoy it, all relative of course).
