If you're getting this then get the censored version. That outro of Pink Cellphone is cringe af (otherwise I'd actually dig the song).

Street Carp is probably my least fave on White Pony, but I wouldn't say it's one of the worst Deftones tracks. Prince, on the other hand...

Are you freaking kidding me? A song about rejecting a girl that you're not interested in by giving her a different address every time you meet her, it's one of the coolest concepts in a song

I like the concept of the song a lot, but the short length and fade-out outro make it feel kinda unfinished to me. The riffs are good, but I just feel like they could have added a little more to the overall composition. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great song... it's just that when you have an album that's as consistently phenomenal as White Pony, there's a tendency to scrutinize and nitpick the negatives more closely because they're so few and far between. On a more average album, Street Carp would be a highlight, which speaks volumes about White Pony's quality

Elite's probably one of the lesser songs on the album too, yeah. Still great though, of course

@Log: I just love how they were able to channel the most negative time in their career into something so beautiful and poignant. This album's probably the most spacy and experimental thing they've done, and it sounds so mesmerizing and hypnotic at points. It has a sort of perpetual drowning feeling I've always been fascinated by, especially on songs like Cherry Waves and Beware

It's pretty middle of the road for them imo, still rocks

Elite would have been pretty cool but the songwriting is absolute ass. 2 repetitive riffs cycling for 4 minutes straight, ugh. Can't believe they won a grammy for that particular song.

Elite is awesome as part of the album overall, but probably not as an individual song
