I know all you savvy people probably knew this but I read a stat the other day that completely debunks the Allen can’t beat Mahomes in the playoffs narrative… I mean it is a team game after all, which people forget!

His stats in the post-season are actually better in games vs KC and generally impressive. 3 TDs per game. 1 INT overall. 320 yds passing per game etc. I forget the exact numbers but it’s certainly not choking. He’s stepping up. Hopefully he can do it again and their defence actually performs this time.

running the ball like they have and keeping Mahomes off the field would help of course. Rested defence. Maybe Allen throwing for 300+ isn’t the formula, haha

Buffalo should definitely focus on clock control if they want to win the game. I'm rooting against KC so I have to cheer for the Bills. besides if Buffalo wins it all at least we can say we got destroyed by the champions

definitely and i am honestly happy we made the postseason at all, everyone counted us out everyone thought we would be a 5 win team and yet still, 10-7 and a wild card. we overachieved and nothing can take that away from us. tough loss but a very good season all things considered

Yeah, I enjoyed watching the Broncos this season. Nix is a gem. I actually drafted him in the last round of the Sput league (then dropped / re-added, as I had Allen too). The defence was mostly impressive too. You’re a lot further ahead than I thought you’d be, just maybe secure another weapon for Nix in the off season… sophomore slump is a thing

definitely splurge for a good slot guy for nix to throw to, we're probably recovering a bunch of that dead cap from the wilson contract too so we can afford a heavy hitter like a davante adams if he were to hit free agency I think

i mean out of all the qbs, allen arguably tries more in drawing/attempting to draw RTP flags than mahomes, there are multiple instances of josh allen flopping/gesturing at refs to throw the flag

Allen also has waaaaaay more designed runs tho if we’re being fair, so thinking about it the % of flags vs hits would probably still favour Mahomes drawing them in all honesty (this was a off-the-cuff thought but I think it’s the sheer no. not the hits vs exposure to hits or whatever - of course a QB SHOULD try and draw them, it’s not a critique of them, just how often the refs call it etc).

At the end of the day I don’t want to see star QBs injured, it’s an issue in Euro football (specifically EPL) at the minute with the way video reviews have screwed everything because refs daren’t make decisions and be proven wrong
