its because this album offers endless replay value and amazing riffs and carnage and tortured vocals and cool ass lyrics and shit and is a complete masterpiece when it grows and seeing a lot of other people not sharing that sentiment is sadface and so yeah like cmooon bruuuh just give it another chance and five it cmoooooooon bruh

It's mostly the fact that the album got way too popular way too fast. It's also that Vektor is an aquired taste. If you don't like thrash to begin, it's just a boring slog.

I just can't get behind it. "Charging the Void" is so awesome and epic and the rest is just typical thrash with really hard to enjoy vocals. It's like after "Charging..." they stopped trying.

Not really, charging is excellent but the second half of the album has even better songs with pillars and recharging the void being the best Vektor song in general

Naw man, if anything the whole album should have had more moments like that. Embrace the cheese a little bit, especially if you're going to write a space opera. I always tell myself I need to go back and re-listen to this but I've done it twice now and still haven't picked up on anything that warrant this to be as high as everyone claims. I think the hype sold it.
